When I was pressed on why I was voting for Obama over Hilary in the primaries, my answer was, “I have a feeling that Obama is more likely to cede executive power back to the legislature, even if it reduces his ability to act quickly to right the wrongs of the Bush Administration. I don’t feel confidant that Hilary will do so.” I based this on feeling, not empiricism. And while this article suggests to a degree that he isn’t giving it all back, what a huge step in the right direction. Not to gloat… but it looks like I was right. Gut: 1, Brain: 0.
I have yet to be disappointed in a move that Obama has made. I’ve disagreed with a couple, but those were only on issues where he and I disagreed during the campaign (Afghanistan policy, domestic Ag policy).
